Kingston Indigenous Languages Nest (KILN)

Language revitalization is at the heart of keeping indigenous cultures alive. Carol Ann has been involved with the nest since 2018. Carol Ann is working on her own language skills while also volunteering her time to support the various programs organized by KILN.

Queens University

Carol Ann is the co-chair of the Indigenous Council of Queen’s University. She has been involved with the council since 2013. This position allows her to provide guidance on Indigenous programming at Queen’s.

Beyond her role on the council, she also provides free retirement workshops for Queen’s Community members. She has been running these workshops since 2012.

Indigenous Financial Collective

Carol Ann is part of the inaugural Indigenous Financial Collective. This Collective is in the process of being created. It is comprised of Indigenous financial professionals from across Turtle Island. The goal is to share resources and knowledge to uplift communities everywhere.
